Reach is a course for young people aged 14-18 not in education, employment and training. Through a programme of workshops, tailored to meet the needs of the group, we focus on providing the tools and knowledge to develop healthy ways to manage difficulties.
All courses will focus on building resilience and setting personal goals that can be broken down into manageable steps. Young people doing the course are encouraged to look at the positives in their lives to boost self-esteem.
You’ll gain knowledge and insight on each of the topics and be taught useful tools to use every day to help you develop healthy ways to manage your difficulties.
Sessions will combine a range of group activities, worksheets and discussions. Central to Reach courses is peer support. Participants will be encouraged to share and discuss their difficulties and what helps them.
