Peer Supporters use their lived experience to offer emotional support; share knowledge and skills; and connect people with resources and communities. We work one-to-one and in groups to support each unique recovery journey.
We partner with Age UK, Crossroads and Richmond Aid on this service.
In the team we have Peer Support Workers with relevant lived experience to specialise in supporting young adults aged 18-25.
You’ll work with your Peer Support Worker for a series of sessions to support you on your recovery journey. You’ll meet one-to one to share lived experience, receive emotional support, share knowledge and learn new coping skills.
Our Peer Support Team also offer a number of group support sessions every month. These sessions are co-designed which means that all of the activities delivered are decided by the members of the group.
If you think this service would be of benefit to you, or a young person you support or care for, please ask your GP or Mental Health Team for a referral.
